Haha! Always love reading about the early days of Nintendo and others. Where a few wild people could slip in some really fun things here and there. Sort of like the old wild west of gaming. An age that is dead and isn’t ever going to come back. Read more

I guess this worked better than when someone named the bosses in Mega Man X 5 after Guns and Roses band members yielding such wonderful results as Duff McWhalen, Squid Adler, Dark Dizzy, and The Skiver. *shudder* Read more

Lemmy also featured in Motörhead, an official beat-em-up on the Amiga and Atari ST where you walked around headbutting Goths, ravers and rappers to rescue his band. He also drank glue...it was mediocre but whatever it had Lemmy! Sadly the levels had no Motörhead songs just generic music based on whatever musical theme

I’ve always thought it was funny that Wendy O. Williams, a punk rocker famous for her tits and chainsaws, and Lemmy, the very embodiment of sex, drugs and rock’n’roll made it into Mario lore.

Damn, there’s so much I would do.... gotta get a WiiU (curse you 3rd World country, and your damn stupid importing laws), or bribe Patrick to get my suggestions Read more

What seems hardest to me is the timing. I think dan’s been teasing that people complete this with only like 20 seconds left. so every piece isn’t hard, but putting it all together quickly enough is. Read more

I just realized...I don’t think there’s a way to search directly by name or code...so I can’t even bookmark this. The site is only for random luck of the draw? Lame. Read more

The thing that bothers me the most about these? Read more

My god. This isn’t a platformer anymore. It’s a diabolical puzzler. I shall pray for you good sir. Read more

Ugh, I don’t know how you do it Patrick but all the levels Dan makes are just completely hideous. Dan spends a good portion of a day making something that he himself hates having to go through and you methodically break them down and finish them. I want to applaud you but also warn you. Read more

For some reason, this level seems easier than the Ryckoning...the puzzles are there...but either your skill in execution has greatly improved (there is no way it hasn’t)...or the absence of musical notes is making it less frustrating in that sense. Read more

I get stressed just seeing these articles now (not in a bad, I hate your playthroughs way). Not sure how you deal with it every odd week. Read more

I came just to say this. At least we know that Microsoft can try to do something if a BC game isn’t working right. Though, I doubt they will do much to fix the random crashes in Dungeon Siege 3. I can’t go an hour without the game locking up. Read more

I’m actually really glad to hear back on this. Reach is by far my favorite Halo game, and i’d love to give it another shot, but not if the frame rate is terrible. I’m glad they’ve acknowledged it and are looking into it. Owning up to something is an admirable trait in individuals and companies. Read more

Hey thats pretty cool the big guys spoke up about it. Dont see that often anymore (looking at you right now Valve).

I’m really not an RTS fan, but I enjoyed the heck out of BFME 1 and 2, and this mod looks great. Unfortunately, I gave away my CD copies years ago. Read more

The Lord of the Rings Two Towers for Gamecube is the best LOTR game there ever was, then battle for middle earth on PC. Read more

I’ve never really understood why people make these expansive mods, or why people make fan games, when they could put all that time and effort into making an original game they could actually sell. Read more

If I could find Battle for Middle Earth 2 this mod sounds pretty amazing.

I am genuinely surprised to see Thrawn’s Revenge on there. Makes me want to get my Empire At War installed to play it again. Read more
